Who Is Running This Reactor?!
My name is Kieran Parker and I am a Digital Product Designer. I spend the majority of my time designing digital experiences for a variety established companies and startups as the director of design at Kuv.io. In my spare time, I love to create things to put out into the real world such as design experiments, fun little projects or more fleshed out products for others to use.
Long story short, I use my design knowledge to feed my need to create new and interesting products, whoever they may be for.
I decided to create this reactor for a few reasons. The first would be to document and show off my work, not just the end result, but the many journeys of discovery I go on as I travel from initial concept to final product, including all the details along the way.
The second reason is that I hope to inspire other creators. People are always creating side projects, small businesses or just interested in the startup world. I hope to inspire those who are stuck, burnt out or just can’t get started. Maybe my journeys/products can help others too!
I work on all sorts of things. As I said above, my main role is Director of Design at Kuv.io. A design/development agency that resonates with my work ethics, together we build amazingly beautiful and function products. When I am not working on Kuvios projects, I am usually experimenting with new design styles and techniques, thinking up new product ideas/concepts and sometimes, if I come up with something I am really passionate about, I will create it and put it out into the real world.
Whilst I am designer by trade, I do much more than push pixels. I create products, with a team or solo, the fun is in taking a product from concept to completion and tackling solving every problem along the way.
Whatever you want to do, make sure you follow me on my social accounts, why not follow me on twitter to stay up to date on what I am working on as it happens.
